River Club is a place where everyone has something to do, even
if that’s finding the ideal spot to do nothing. A place where
you can
pursue the passions you never had time to before. Or to learn new
things you’ve always wanted to learn. Life’s memories
etched in us forever.
| Watch this video of Nantahala River Club's Dan Sikorra being interviewed on Asheville's News 13. Dan talks about relocating to the Smokies. |
Showing your child how to tie a fly. Watching your spouse read
a novel as you’re anchored in a cove while the sun sets. Hiking
a section of the
Appalachian Trail in the peak of Fall. Pulling your kids behind the
boat on water toys you didn’t even know existed, until their
legs & arms turn
to mush. Then seeing their faces as you do the same.
Dining at a
mountain restaurant overlooking the river. Learning to paddle whitewater
for the first time, with your kids. Dosing in your hammock late
in the day. Mountain biking the best single track trail system
in the East. Painting vistas over and over until you get
it right. Taking a family reunion on a guided river raft trip
to be talked about for years to come. Wrapping your fingers around
a warm cup of coffee as the sun warms the cool
morning air. Learning new crafts that have been taught in the area
for generations. Cruising on a mountain lake for
hours.
And when you want to go to town, we have great small towns
to go to. Within easy reach are some of the best
mountain towns around... to dine, to stroll, to shop, with major
cities just a day trip away.
